What is FS TUTORIALS ?

It's an independent free website, fully dedicated to simmers and "hardcore" simmers using Microsoft Flight Simulator (FS X, FS 2004 / FS 9 ... and alsoFS 2002), X-PLANE, and generally speaking ... aviation. Initially founded to offer complex add-ons tutorials for Microsoft Flight Simulator such as Airbus (A320, A330; A340; A380), Boeing (727, 737, 747, ...) or Mc Donnell Douglas (MD-11, MD-80, ...) of well known softwares editors (PMDG, Level-D, Flight 1, Suprunov Design, PSS), FS TUTORIALS is now a real portal, open also on WILCO / Feelthere, CaptainSim, Airliner XP, Ready for pushback, Lago, Koch Altitude, Pilot in command, MAAM-Sim, Aeroworks, Eaglesoft, CLS, FFS, Reality XP, .... and more (see below).

 

What's in FS TUTORIALS ?

As the major part of the documentation for Microsoft Flight Simulator related stuff is in English, you'll be able to find translations in the French section ... but I'm sure you're not really interested in English to French translations !!!

Another section is dedicated to downloads. This includes planes (for instance, there is just one plane, the famous Cessna 150 of François-Denis Guidée and Yves Franckart), repaints (textures), but also other files such as sounds, scenery (sceneries), SID/STAR files, IVAO and VATSIM related stuffs, ....

One section will become essential for you ... the links and specially the "Flight preparation room" that summarizes the major links for preparing your flight : this includes the websites dedicated to routes calculation, but also a large collection of site offering charts (mainly for free) for airports (ground, taxiways, runways), approach (SID / SAR), enroute (en route), ....

 

How is it possible to find a file on FS TUTORIALS ?

The website has been reorganised. Just below the header picture, you'll find a navigation bar in blue for the main topics, ans in yellow for the sub-topics. In each sub-topic, information and links are grouped by themes.

Generally speaking, the header pictures is related to the section the information / tutorial / dowload belongs (i.e. : one BOEING 747-400 header picture for PMDG 747-400 Tutorials section). Moreover, title and sub-title on the header picture help you.

 

 

I did'nt succeed in finding what I was looking for?

I you know that the file you're searching is currently on FS TUTORIAL, use the Google search below and switch the radio button on "FS TUTORIALS " position otherwise let the radio button on its default position "Web search". If the file or topic really exists, it'll be found by Google ... I've done exactly what Google request for easyly finding a file, the entire FS TUTORIALS website is indexed.

 

Who's behind FS TUTORIALS ?

 

Initially, FS TUTORIALS was just a personal page on Internet, realized by Jean-Michel MABILLE, to offer his tutorials for PMDG 737 and 747 to his friends and generally speaking, the Flight Simulator community. One year later, a second author joinded him. In a few months, FS TUTORIALS became a real authors community, providing more than tutorials but also translations ... and recently planes and repaints.

FS TUTORIALS is an independent portal. We're proud not to have agreement or relationship with commercial website or software editors. It's the price to pay ... for a free speech.

The main part of the pictures on FS TUTORIALS belongs to KRIS (see partners) and are subject to the general copyright.
