Author : François-Denis GUIDEE ... it isn't just a name ... it's a mythe. Known for his fabulous DR-221, François-Denis is now a synonym of "masterpiece". He's one of the master of Flight Simulator. For him, perfection i not enough ... just have a look on his latest creation ....

Author : Yves FRANCKART ... brother in arms of François-Denis Guidée, he was involved in the famous DR-221 development. With this CESSNA-150, it also a masterpiece he realized. Textures specialist, he's also the "public relation" of this famous team.

Flight model : Jean-Pierre BOURGEOIS (alias Bee Gee). Reaching the perfection is not sufficient ... "over the edge" is his motto.

For those known as "hardcode simmers", this first opus of the Cessna 150 (C 150 or C-150) is opening a new era of realistic flights, models and dynamics. I'm sure you'll love it. Like the first settlers, you'll ride it across the world. But let me introduce it and - of course - the development team.

 

Initially developed for FS 2004 (and who knows ... for FS X in the coming weeks or months?), this Cessna 150 has been realised by Francois-Denis Guidée (know as "fravin") and Yves Franckart (know as "Frank00").

 

LCO26, with his tutorial dedicated to the plane creation, has been the inspirer for Francois-Denis and Yves.

 

What is remarkable with such a project is the fact he involves more than the initial team. A lot of people decided to join:

 

What more? .... I've been also involved in this project for one thing I'm able to do: write a tutorial. But why a C-150 requires a tutorial? It’s just a small plane easy to ride!!! .... This marvelous plane is delivered with an exclusive tool, fully functional: an Aviat Aristo 617 Flight Computer. As this is a quite complicated tool, it requires a tutorial to understand how to use it for both flight preparation and in flight use. This "Easter Egg" is an immersive gauge that hasn't been modelled before. Enjoy it.
