There is no download box or I don't see any download box, why ?

First of all, are you sure you're on the right page of the website. Everytime something is offered for download, you'll see at the beginning of the page a short presentation of the author (name and abstract). This presentation is always located just below the first red title.

 

Then, if you're on the right page, this could be caused by Adblock Plus if you're using Firefox. For a weird reason, this plugin delete the download box.

 

Two walkaround solutions exist :

 

1 - Disable Adblock plus (sorry but I have a French computer so that hardcopies are in French ...)

The website requests a user / password, how can I obtain it ? do I'm obliged to register ?

Files are protected against hotlinks with a user / password system. As I don't want people to be obliged to register, the user / password is displayed in the downlad box in bold red letters. So that, you've just to read before clicking. Please notice that this area is blinking to highlight the message.

I used the displayed user / password above but ... it doesn't work at all, why ?

User / password are changed automatically. The hard copy above is given as an example. Pleasez refer to the current displayed user / password in the box of the file you want to download.

 

 

 

I entered the user / password displayed in the download box but it doesn't work properly, why ?

Please notice that user / password are case sensitive. Enter them as they are exactly displayed in the box.

 

 

 

I entered the user / password displayed in the download box with the right lower / upper case but i've been sent to an error page, why ?

The website is updated on a regular basis and pages are modified or renamed. Your brother's cache data may be outdated.

 

To fix that, you can push the "refresh button" of your browser. If this action doesn't fix the issue, clean-up you browser's cache and / or change the settings of you browser to allow the cache to be deleted each time the browser is closed. Let your browser manage by itself the refresh cycle and do not keep any historical data. Here are two settings (in French ... but you can fin simila settings in English) for both Firefox and Internet Explorer. For the other browser, please refer to its help section.

I can't download the file with my download manager, why ?

The site is not setup to be used with a download manager. Please use the standard functionnality of you browser to download a file.
